What happens to billing when transferring ownership
Understand what is kept and what the new owner must confirm.
The subscription and billing account belong to the restaurant, not the owner's personal session. Therefore, an accepted transfer preserves the plan, billing period, and Stripe customer associated with the restaurant.
Before accepting, the new owner must review:
- RFC, company name, postal code, tax regime and use of CFDI;
- billing email;
- continuity or replacement of the payment method.
If the previous owner authorized the current method to continue, Fudi does not display or modify the card data. If you didn't authorize it, the new owner sets up a method using the Stripe secure page; Fudi does not receive or store complete card details.
A different RFC may require review before completing the transfer. Once accepted, the new owner gains access to manage the subscription and billing portal.
