Effects of pausing or archiving a program
Compare what happens to activity, progress, rewards, and editing in each state.
Active
Process visits, progress and redemptions while it is in effect. Only one program per visit or level can be active and visible to diners.
Paused
Preserves settings, progress, rewards and history. It does not process activity or allow exchanges. Expiration dates continue to move forward and may resume.
Archived
Preserves history, but cannot be edited, resumed, or process activity. Archiving is irreversible.
An active program must be paused before being deleted or archived. If it has no activity it can be deleted; If you already have transactions, it should be archived.
